in York County are affected by the different forms of child abuse
and neglect. Recognizing that importance of empowering children,
our 5 th and 6 th grade program, Break the Silence: Kids Against
Child Abuse , talks with children about the different types of
child abuse. The ultimate goal of this 90-minute
presentation is to help children identify safe adults that they
can ask for help to stop the abuse for themselves or for a friend.
