Community Training: "The 3 R's: Recognizing, Responding and Reporting Child Abuse". This training is designed to examine the different types of abuse, to discuss the responsibilities and challenges of mandatory reporting and to look at healthy and supportive responses to children and families. The training can be tailored to specific audiences. Past audiences have included, daycare providers, parents, teachers, college classrooms/students, etc). 1-3 hours. FREE. CHILD ABUSE:
 A Perspective for Educators- Summer Institute
A 30-hour/one week Summer Institute designed especially for
educators, administrators, classroom teachers, specialists, counselors, Certification education technicians, nurses, etc.  Topics to be discussed include:  Family Child Abuse: A Violence; Physical, Emotional and Sexual Abuse; Neglect; Developmental Perspective for Impact of Child Abuse & Neglect, Risk & Resiliency; Understanding the Legal Educators System & Department of Health and Human Services; Educational Advocacy & Prevention.
